Rosie so reminds me of our Silver. He and our first Lab bonded the instant they met. He was an itty bitty stray kitty, not more than 7wks old, wandering the apartment complex and my big girl just began mothering him.

Later, they took walks together, went for car rides, without any prompting. Folks seeing him would gasp, "Wow, your cat...!" Tellers at the bank drive-thru got a kick out of him. Our Lab allowed him to clean her ears...and would do one of those "Mom, I can't move, I'd disturb him" things. They loved each other and i miss them both so much.
