Heck, if we didn’t elevate the cats’ food on a table, we’d have pandemonium in our house.

There’s a dog-cat gender divide in my house. Newt gets along with my roommate’s male dog, will swipe a piece of kibble off the table to him, then look over to make sure his bro gets it. His dog sister he’s known years longer gets no such favor, and better stay out of his way.

Thankfully, Tweed and Dee are friends and are willing to nap in close proximity on the couch or in the yard.

I’ll contemplate new methods for improving relations all around, but I’m not making any promises.
