She was born deaf and was in a kill shelter right outside of New Orleans. I already had one deafie and was looking for a friend for her when I came across her photo online. After a few phone calls, I arranged for her to be pulled from the shelter and flown to me in Colorado. They got her out right before she was going to be euthanized. She was six months old at the time. She was also heart-worm positive so we had to treat her for that. Anyway, adopting her was the best decision I've ever made. She is my soul mate and I would do anything for her.
