30. My dear fizzgig....

knowing what took him really wouldn't make this any easier. It isn't easy. I have lost 4 cats, and I knew what was wrong with each one of them---but there was nothing I could do about it. Salivary gland cancer, skin cancer, kidney disease, and well, I don't suppose that I know about the last one....he was hyperthyroid and I had that treated with radioactive iodine and he was doing well. He just needed a broken tooth removed, and had heart failure in the recovery. Each of these hurt me deeply. It doesn't make it better to know. It breaks your heart.

You did all you could. I did all I could. We both lost fur babies. It sucks.
