I think Penny may be meeting her original mom at the Bridge. Her story was that she was chucked out of the house where she lived with her elderly companion when the family celebrated their last Thanksgiving in the home and put 'grandma' or auntie in a nursing home after dinner. I can hear it now, "Don't worry about the damned cat, Mom!" She was very well trained when we got her and such a beauty that I'm sure the family probably thought 'someone' would find her and take care of her. Someone did find her and threw her out a car window. She was still sick from URI and eye infections from her time on the street when we adopted her. She was terrified of being picked up, so I know she had suffered cruelty. She was a great cat. I miss her, but if she is reunited with her first love I will be happy for her. If she waits for me, I will be honored.
