My cat passed today [View all]
It wasn't unexpected. She was over 20 years old and had been getting thin. Last night she got really weak and we weren't sure she was going to make it through the night. Twice she fooled us by laying really still but when I picked her up she moved a bit and purred.
This morning I lay in bed reading, posting and watching videos on my iPad with her right beside me occasionally giving her a tummy rub. Eventually I noticed she'd stopped breathing.
I let the dogs say goodbye then took her to be cremated.

So sorry to hear that TrogL ... 20 years is a great run with a pet though!

I love that she purred, let you rub her tummy and then left. She will never forget your love.
