You're so kind..It was very hard, in this case, especially because though he was very weak, wasn't eating, and could barely move,, he was lying next to me peacefully, while I pet him, seeming to be in no pain at all. I was very tempted to simply let him go, naturally, but my fear was that he really WAS feeling bad, and might, like another cancer suffering cat I had, suddenly go through a lot of pain at the end.
So yes, I guess I did do the right thing..Thanks again for your hood thoughts, piddyprints. I really appreciate them.
