11. We've been using Slide, with good results for a few months.

We have one of those enclosed litter boxes that can be sifted by flipping it over. The litter seems to last longer than the nonclumping kind (cheap generic clay from Dollar General). It does have a slightly strange scent but the cats don't seem to mind -- all three use the same box, and an old-fashioned open box is also available. They use both, without any obvious pattern other than avoiding the most recently used one. And the odor is much reduced.

We went whole hog and bought the bag disposal system. I'm getting too old too keep carrying litter boxes out to the garage all the time, and it's been a big relief.

I've bought the Slide refills only when I've got a coupon or other price break, and I'm nowhere near running low.
