One really big change I've noticed in the kitten's behavior [View all]

Before, they just hung out in the playpen but when I arrived, they'd come out and play/crawl all over me. When I'd get up to leave, they'd race me to the doorway.

Now when I check on them, if they aren't sleeping, they are playing. And not in the playpen. They are hopping, galloping, pouncing, wrestling, the works, all around the room. They are even sleeping outside of the playpen. I might just move it to the den.

I just love peeking around the corner and seeing them just being really active, playful kittens. I'm even seeing them doing some 'crab walking' which is so incredibly sweet and funny.

Maybe that playpen gave them a sense of security while they adapted to their new life.

And they had kibble for the first time. I crushed it up, mixed it in the pate and stirred in some milk replacement. They GOBBLED it down! I'm going to start transitioning them to a 3 times a day feeding schedule.
