that I think you all are absolutely fantastic! You're Bastet's helpers on Earth, taking care of Her little angels on Earth. There are so many who are vulnerable in this day and age... the old, the very young, the sick, the disabled. But many never stop to think about the wild creatures, or those who are born of the domesticated who have no homes. As climate change progresses and gets ever more extreme, they're going to suffer ever more. It's going to be people like us who will be the front line to do what we can to help them in any way we can.
Like many of you, I'm sure, in my younger days I've gone after kids who were mistreating animals as well as taught young children how to handle and treat them. One of the worst nights of my life was taking a baseball bat after armed teenagers torturing cats in my neighborhood. And I've probably spent enough money on vet bills over my lifetime to fund the life of "my" vet clinic! (As I'm sure most of you have yours, too!).
Keep up the good work, angels! I know we do this for the love of animals... and because we can't stand to see another creature suffer. But I just want to say "Thank you"... and how happy I am to 'know' all of you.
