5. When I dehydrate them, they take longer to eat 'em.

They grab their chunk and gnaw on it for a good long time. It's not quite rawhide, but it does the tooth cleaning thing and gives them a nice chewing workout. They also travel well when I dry 'em out.

I know, though, that the dogs will eat sweet potato any which way I have it, or squash, too. They're veggie fiends. They go for raw carrots too, as well as dried ones. The upside is that they're not snobs, but "their shit don't stink!" The vegetables really do cut down on stinky turds!
