Was at my grandmother's house in Worcester, MA and the television reception was in and out with snow and static. I was 6, a Giants fan as the Patriots hadn't been born yet.
Unitas was of Lithuanian heritage and my father thought the world of him. My grandmother escaped during the Reds v Whites war in 1917.
I had to root with my father and watching that overtime drive was thrilling. Ameche's touchdown was exciting. I became a Colts fan thereafter getting a Colts helmet the next Christmas.
