I'm so sorry you've had to endure that. I am from Oregon, and like another poster above I tend to take for granted that I cannot be fired for being gay or other such injustices that people from other states have to put up with. Everything you say is true, and I'm tired of the right and their (as you put it so well) "faux persecution complex".
