12. Thank you. This list has elicited a little grave dance from me.

As I read through the names and donations, I came across a familiar name I hadn't seen in while -- Freedom States Alliance.

This was the anti-RKBA group who produced the odious gunguys.com blog. I called them the anti-gun guys because they really were more interested in making it more difficult for law abiding folks to own the firearms of their choice, often didn't understand the mechanics of firearms, and appeared to be anti-self defense. They were asshats of extraordinary ability.

As it turns out, Freedom States Alliance is no more. They were "merged" with a group called States United to Prevent Gun Violence, but the new group is still called States United to Prevent Gun Violence. In other words, Freedom State Alliance died. <insert grave dance gif>. Announcement from http://supgv.org/alert/2010/february/17/two-national-groups-%E2%80%94-freedom-states-alliance-states-united-prevent-gun-viole

And the best part, is that gunguys.com is dark. They are no more. The new organization didn't even want to devote server space to their variety of bullshit. <insert grave dance gif>

This is a good example of how even well funded anti-rkba groups are failing.
