I almost forgot.

Eddie Eagle visits Canton first graders

Canton Police Department presented a special guest to first graders at Westview Elementry School on Monday, Jan. 23.
Eddie Eagle, mascot of The Eddie Eagle GunSafe® Program, was introduced by Officer Greg Lingenfelter.
Eddie Eagle discussed four important steps to take if a child finds a gun. First, stop. Then don’t touch the gun. Leave the area, and tell an adult.
The purpose of the Eddie Eagle Program is not to teach whether guns are good or bad, but rather to promote the protection and safety of children. The program makes no value judgments about firearms, and no firearms are ever used in the program.

Well, there ya' go. The dreaded NRA and supporting gun toters have a safety program directed at kids. What's the Brady Bunch got that is similar? Or do they just go around making up statistics to scare people?

The questions were rhetorical, you don't have to bother to answer.

BTW, hat tip to the gun wire for the story.
