7. Milford's a relatively dense suburb

Too tightly packed to shoot squirrels with a .22 even. Plus any gunshots are going to be heard far and wide, even if the friendly local boys in blue hadn't heard them in person I'm sure there were plenty of calls. Way upriver, north of NEW Milford, you could get away with it, but that's a different world.

Anyway, I don't get what the guy was thinking in the first place - the treerats are so common down there that plinking them is like pissing in the ocean.
