But to answer your question - it's more about what I don't do than what I do to keep them safe. I don't encourage them to live in fear of their fellow humans. I don't encourage them to pollute society with more and more guns, or pollute the planet they inhabit by senselessly driving around on ATV's in the name of "family fun".
