9. "Gun safety advocates" = Gun control extremists

I don't see how people with no first hand knowledge of how a firearm works can be considered "gun safety advocates".

As to the bill itself, it will pass the House and maybe the Senate. Whether it gets vetoed or not depends on what they attach it to when they send it to the President.

That's how the law allowing the carrying of firearms in Federal parks got passed, they attached to a credit card bill that the President really wanted passed.
