...but a passing busybody felt it necessary to report someone, doing nothing wrong, to the police -- thereby causing the police to take time away from, oh, I dunno, actually doing their jobs, to go investigate a fellow doing nothing wrong.

Y'know, my neighbor was mowing his lawn the other day -- maybe the police would be interested...? I'm sure they don't have anything else going on...

I also saw a woman eating a hamburger in a restaurant. I'm sure the State Police would be interested. Looked like a really good burger, I'm sure they'll want some lunch at some point.

Yeah, I can really see this sort of thing taking off...
