Lots of fun to shoot 3 gun competitions but you'd better be independently wealthy, Sponsored, or Reload. Otherwise you'll go broke in practice ammo alone.

Then you have travel expenses, equipment....it's an expensive hobby, I know a couple of guys that travel the 3 gun circuit. They actually bought a Ford Expedition dedicated for their matches. It's decked out in the back completely with storage compartments for their firearms, apparel, magazines, backup equipment and parts. Then the ammo...
