he is simply the means. The NRA endorses him only because Trump is telling them what they want to hear. I don't know of anyone in the shooting sports community who actually likes or trusts him.

The NRA's vision isn't Trump.

BTW, what is your concern for the health of the GOP? What about NRA members of color, women and gay members including the ones on the board of directors?

Trump is destroying a party that is out of touch with its own base. Any political party whose congress members and elites are holding office for their own personal gain and not to represent the interests of the grassroots and country deserves to be destroyed and replaced with one that will.
It happened to the Whigs over slavery, it is happening to the GOP over several things.
