I know anyone who loves guns, but that was the title.

I am all for laws which will have a positive effect. Unfortunately I have been push from support of any registration. There are too many groups and individuals calling for bans or demonstration of need, which added up would include a majority of guns.
Recent experience giving police broad power to collect guns is not confidence inspiring https://www.democraticunderground.com/1172204659
