This article starts of on a bad foot saying the Second Amendment "gives" Americans the right to bear arms. The 2nd Amendment recognizes the existence of a retained right. The 2ndA does not give, grant, create or establish anything; all it can be said to 'do' is redundantly forbid the federal government to exercise powers it was never granted.

Beyond that initial factual failure, I would caution against any survey results being defined as "facts" . . .
