...since this board is now unlocked, I can respond to your question about ...........GUNS (certainly it couldn't possibly be you who thought otherwise and petitioned to have this board locked).
The bad guy didn't say he had a gun. The crime victim falsely claimed his assailant had a gun.

The 911 operators aren't police. Making false police reports through them is still a crime.
