Montgomery County sheriffs officials and state troopers found 10,000 plants and growing equipment near FM 1375 and FM 149 in Montgomery County. The pot was destroyed in an incinerator, but no arrests

MADISON, WIJohn W. Vaudreuil, United States Attorney for the Western District of Wisconsin, announced that Norberto Burciaga, 40, St. Paul, Minnesota, was sentenced today by U.S. District Judge Barbara B. Crabb to 10 years in federal prison for his involvement in a conspiracy to manufacture marijuana in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest during 2011. Burciaga pleaded guilty to the conspiracy charge in December 2011.
