In reply to the discussion: Arizona Governor signs another pro-gun hunting bill [View all]ManiacJoe
(10,138 posts)122. You seem very confused, but I will help you out.
fightthegoodfightnow, in post 104:
Grand ignorance?
Right ......so having two unloaded fire arms is so much easier to quickly and safely respond to a nonexistent threat in the woods because you need both? Illogical.
If it makes you feel good to characterize every post of mine (or me personally) as ignorant, go for it. You'll never educate anyone (if that's your 'grand' plan) by calling them ignorant......just makes you sound stupid and your point if you have one is completely lost.
If you were smart, you'd try successfully try to understand and address why 'Rabidly ignorant gun Prohibitionists' think guns are a problem in America rather than feigning ignorance and indifference to the problem.
ManiacJoe, in post 106:
Instead of asking questions, you keep making inaccurate assumptions.Right ......so having two unloaded fire arms is so much easier to quickly and safely respond to a nonexistent threat in the woods because you need both? Illogical.
What leads you to believe that a hunter would have two unloaded guns with him when those two guns are the hunting rifle and the handgun?
PS. "Ignorant" is not an insult, it is just a description of a small level of knowledge; a level that can be upgraded if the person so desires.
fightthegoodfightnow, in post 107:
Who said two guns?
Not me. Read what I said.
ManiacJoe, post 109:
You said it. I quoted you exactly.
The quote is all of paragraph #2 from post 104.
fightthegoodfightnow, post 110:
Nah
...you didn't.
--------------------------------------------
My post 106 does contain the exact quote of the text you posted in 104. Your denial in 110 is silly at best.
Now if you are trying to be even more silly by suggesting the "firearms" and "guns" are not synonyms and by suggesting that "rifles" and "handguns" are not subcategories of them, then your level of ignorance is beyond my desires to help you.

I'd be more worried about someone smuggling pot or even growing it in the wilderness

You are the one who brought up 'violent muggers'. That's your straw man. Not mine. n/t

Most hunters (in my experience) carry the rifle on their shoulder via a sling.
