44. A hit by a .45 on somebody under the influence of drugs...

....would have different results on a slim-build person who is stone sober. I've seen incidences where a person took rifle fire and should have died on the spot but managed to keep going through sheer force of will. Another dies from a single small caliber pistol shot like somebody turned out the lights. Too many variables to make generalizations with respect to caliber.
