38. right direction to what?

Not the right direction of ending violence, since the people who will be losing the guns won't are not committing the violence. The guns mentioned are not used in violence. In other words, you are supporting pointless theater produced by politicians that have no interest in finding real solutions to the problems, and are often part of the problems themselves.

But then, it is easier for politicians to scapegoat the gun club down the road than step on the toes of gangs.
But then, why do politicians and community organizers sit down with the gangs while demonize the skeet shooter someplace else? Seems more self serving than anything else.
