Teach the NRA a lesson!

You don't need all those highly skilled union machinist jobs and their apprentice training programs in your state or town.

Pass some nice restrictive gun laws to show the voters and taxpayers, (many of whom will be leaving shortly), how serious you'd like to be about violence.

Then, when the tax revenue falls drastically, wonder out loud why the tax base fell apart. Couldn't be because you drove another major manufacturer out of the state, must be that evil NRA again.

When you have to close a school, library or firehouse or two blame the NRA. That'll work.
