You think commercial use of a word defines that word? Tote is a word in the English language, used for centuries. One of it's most common uses is in reference to carrying a gun on one's person.
Look the fucking word up in any dictionary and find me where it is defined as a disparaging term.

You are losing credibility very quickly.
