spit can be an assault weapon. The point is that when you mislabel, maybe on purpose, I don't know, then you make yourself look like an ignorant idiot, not you or the person who post the OP, but whoever wrote the article.
And no, it isn't semantics at all, one is an assault rifle and one is a semi auto weapon, there is a huge difference between the two.
Believe me, I know from personal experience.
