14. I switched to being a Democratic because...

...a non-trivial portion of conservative ideals consist of doing nothing and leaving things as they are, more so than I considered appropriate. In the end I came to believe that it is more sensible to steer the boat in a good direction than to just shut off the motor.

If any you are one day elected president, I will lobby for an appointment as Secretary of Analogy.
