let bitterness get the better of him. Just remember how Bush smear campaigned against him in the Republican primaries, painting him as a RINO. I suppose he realized that 2008 was his last shot at the Presidency and in the end he was defeated by someone younger and less experienced, someone who hadn't been thorugh all that he has. He's wrong and, needless to say, Obama got a trainwreck of foreign diplomacy after Bush (the same policy McCain unfortunately supported) and is trying really hard to make relations with other countries better, whilst not making America look weak. I do hope McCain realizes that this is not the way he'd like to end his political career, with Palin popping out and war mongering. I too believe he deserves gratitude, like all people who've been through what he had, but his sacrifice alone doesn't make his false assertions true.
