It's hard to tell out here in TV-land, and while there may be smart people in charge and about to set things rigbt, that doesn't seem like the way to bet.

On the other hand, I'm not much inclined to go after Obama about it. More because I know how the US goverment works than because I have an opinion about what he is up to, or not.

You might say that I have confidence that the future course of events will make matters clear in due course. And in the meantime it seems wise to get that carrier out of the gulf before the loonies go apeshit on each other.
