out of the socket causing her to fall. She's been manually re-inserting it back into the socket each time it pops out. The ortho said no hip replacement at this time. She is in her 80s. She continued to fall, requiring hospitalization a couple of times. The ortho said her ins company requires a round of PT, OT before they would approve surgery. The other day she called me because she had fallen 4 times in a couple of hours and after 2 hours of trying she couldn't get up. I went over and lifted her back into her wheel chair. She went to hospital and they said she could never return home unless there was someone there at all time to help her.

Her life is being turned upside down and it's the insurance company's fault! She wouldn't be falling if her hip surgery had been approved a year ago because it's her hip issue that causes the falls!

My point is, you can exercise all you want but your quality of life is in the hands of greedy insurance companies and AI.
