103. OMG, that only makes it MORE confusing to me!

This is one strange story....

On the one hand, he calls her "self hating" but why would she be, if her life was so grand? And he admits they are "estranged" as well.

Ezra also commented on other parts of Rachel's supposedly invented biography. He said she's "never been to Africa in her entire life," after she claimed she lived in South Africa. He also said that while their parents were strict and used corporal punishment, she wasn't abused by her parents, which she had previously claimed.

"She was treated really well as a child," Ezra said, adding, "I think I would know if I was abused growing up, and I definitely wasn't."

He also said that he didn't believe that she had been the subject of race-based attacks, which she had previously claimed to police.

"She made herself into a martyr on purpose for people to feel sorry for her and to help her," Ezra said.

And then, there's this? I mean, REALLY? How did THAT happen???

Rachel gained custody of one of her younger brothers in 2010, according to Buzzfeed, and now claims him as her birth son.

Why would her parents give up their "younger" child to this "crazy" daughter with whom they hadn't spoken in a decade or so?

Something is just weird here. I don't know what it is, but all this stuff just isn't adding up to me.

I think there's something Not Quite Right about this lady, but I'm not going to put down to mendacity what might be better explained by a more complex--and maybe sad--explanation. There's got to be a reason why she wanted to dissociate from those parents so much. There's got to be a reason why she just sashayed off with her little brother--and her parents LET HER do that.

I hope it's not the plot of one of those assaultish/abusive LIFETIME movies, where the children are abused, bullied and threatened, and some come up with different stories and take different sides...I think this whole story has the potential to get very ugly. We'll see....
