(3,580 posts)I'm white so had to stay open to listening to black folks. Which is why the brave issue is such a loss. Anyway I've been reading and listening on black twitter and then going to sites from there and most of my friends are black as well as almost everyone I work with and I'm not hearing a big cheer for Hillary.
People are waiting and watching. No one is owed the black vote. The conflict among some white supporters is who deserves the black vote and then get mad if black folks aren't feeling it. Right off the bat that's insulting. And honest to god I'm not worried about a politicians feelings. I wish Obama could run again. The GOP is deranged and none of the dems running impress me. Clearly I'm going to vote for somebody but I may have to find a reason other than blm if none of them rise to the occasion.
