(128,905 posts)there has been alot of hyperbole from them regarding woulda coulda shouldas like:
1.) The end of SS and Medicate as we know it due to the current President
2.) TPP/TPA
3.) Cecil the Lion
4.) NSA and Snowden
etc.,
Yet when it's something that isn't a woulda coulda shoulda - i.e., literal black DEATHS including women and children, and WE protest that, it's "Oh no no no. You don't do that". "Just sit down and shut up and we will take care of you because you are obviously incapable of doing it. We know you and you are doing it wrong."
As a note - I was listening to Joe Madison this morning on SiriusXM and he mentioned how he had co-hosted a big rally in Cleveland in support of the family of 12-year old Tamir Rice who was shot 2 seconds after a wild cop rolled up to him and jumped out of the car to take a black child down as if he were a wild animal... And he said that BLM busted into the event, came up on the stage and demanded to speak. He said "Fine - come on up to the mic and have your say." They did, and they thanked him for giving them a voice.
Lesson: Sometimes that's all a protestor wants. Give them 5 minutes and most times, they are fine with it. But better, include them in your program and they will work all hours of the day and night for you.
