I am truly honored and excited to hear from a member of the Knight family. All I have are a few obituary newspaper clippings and a program from when, I think, 'Bud' Knight passed. I also have a newspaper clipping from the 'sale' of the hundreds of acres in Molena (?). I'm going to dig through again and see what pieces I do have.

Here's the impression that I got, from my father, about their visit to Ga. to attend a funeral, I think for Bud, and he painted a mental picture of him and my mom (and a few other Knight family members) standing at an edge of this vast property and looking back in silence; remembering the history of the Knights and their own relationship to that family.

Let me ask you, can you enlighten me on Rochelle's family's ethnicity or race? I have to tell you, it's not clear at all from the history I've been able to discover. So many other questions . . . I really DO mean to pry, but I understand that we are private people. Look how far we've come from that history. I'm amazed and gratified just to read your few sentences, BJ. Thank you so much for responding. PM me, if you want.
