Do you actually think he SHOULD have gotten a hide for that comment? I know I don't.

It's not a direct insult of anyone on site, but a statement of logic. Because it certainly is possible, (and mathematically no doubt a certainty) that some Bernie supporters ARE idiots. And I say that as a Bernie supporter. Every candidate out there probably has some idiots supporting them.

In which case, the problem lies with the alerter, not the comment. If you say 'He should have changed his behaviour' in re the commenter, what you're really saying is 'Live within the unjust status quo.' Which is a hell of a thing to say to any black person. Just like we should be fighting to prevent unjust police from using the system to beat up and kill black people, we should be fighting to prevent unjust cyberbullies from using the system to virtually beat up and banish black voices from the site.
