She was supporting Sanders until everything happened with BLM and she just couldn't after seeing the way that so many of his supporters behaved towards that group. And not even just here on DU, all over the Internet. Which is why more people and groups than you can count have called these folks out on their behavior over and over again.

heaven05 was in exactly the same boat. He was a strong Bernie supporter until too many here started to dismiss and minimize everything he felt was important. That's two intelligent, strong, wonderful black posters here that would have been EXCEPTIONAL emissaries for Sanders to the black community here and both were run off by the man's own white supporters. Do they not see how fucked up and beyond counter productive that is???

Bravenak just told me that another black Sanders supporter has told her that he's not posting on DU anymore, he was so revolted by the reaction from Sanders supporters to BLM. And their attempts to deflect and blame everybody else for this don't resonate. No one else did this.
