29. This is exactly why the continued move against the Civil Rights Act of '64 scares me

The point of The Act was to not only monitor State's behaviors but to curtail discrimination based on race/gender/socio-economic status/etc. With the undo erosion of this Act, these communities will not only see funding for public education cut, but there will be no vehicle (due to district redistricting) to elect anyone to turn the money back on.

My fear is that the powers that be will not ever have to pay the piper.
