As some know, over the Thanksgiving Holiday, my 91 year old mother was admitted into the hospital with congestive heart failure.

I have spent to past month in Cleveland, OH, by her bed side. She has, since, been transferred to a skilled care facility. While she survived the immediate crisis, her health is failing, and my sister and I will be making the Hospice decision shortly.

I have made the decision to travel back to Tucson to spend Christmas with my daughter and my wife; but, suspect I will be making a return trip to Cleveland in a matter of days (weeks).

This morning, I received word that a co-worker, and family friend's mother-in-law, has been given less than a day to live ... so, during this holiday season, and, really, in everyone's daily to day life, I implore you to keep things in perspective ... this primary season ... politics, in general ... and most of the things we concern ourselves with, pale in comparison to telling those you love, that you love them.
