Yes, it was a blessing to have her as my aunt. I am sure we have some pictures somewhere in my mothers or fathers photo album. We still have the gifts she brought us back when she traveled abroad. My mom, Yvonne (Preston) Gilmore wanted to learn to drive but my dad would not teach her so Aunt Libby taught her how to drive and helped her get her first car. I remember my mom telling us that the kitchen in The Diamond Dept Store refused to heat up my brothers bottle in 1958 and Aunt Libby started the protest against The Diamond Dept Store. I can remember her very vividly. She always wore her hair in a bun, had really long fingernails and wore very red lipstick.. I am sure out paths must have crossed at some point but if not I am sure our parents paths crossed back then.
