You'll take a moment - a week - read something that expands your worldview so perhaps you can understand why she might as well have plastered shoe polish on her face and thrown a bandana on and played mammy - it would have been less 'sexually offensive' as that stereotype to 'those who need the vapors' than the 'Jezebel' stereotype.
Here that 'Jezebel' is played out by a politician that got his ass whooped by a gulp - a disable female war vet.
