(101,916 posts)When I checked IMDB I was reminded he was in Born On The Fourth Of July and now remember the scene where his character and Tom Cruise's character got in a fight in their wheel chairs.
I know he was in a movie with Madonna that I didn't see because I remember my female boss seeing it and saying he was ugly. I never really thought about any actor like that.
BTW, what happened to the Hispanic soldier in Platoon who collected Catholic icon figures to keep him safe. Did he make it?
Also, could you please explain the Richard Pryor reference?
I have seen many Pryor movies including the "autobiographical" JoJo Dancer... I remember a scene where he had a fight with his girlfriend and she said "F--- you and anybody who looks like you." I thought that was a great line.
BTW, as I am sure you know him mom was a prostitute and he was raised around brothels where the clients were mostly white. I can't imagine how that informed his view of the world.
