Like she said upthread, she calls these folks out. She laughs in their faces. These people pretend to be the Democratic party's "base" when disdain and hatred are the only emotions they show towards the Dem party and government as a whole. And I say this as someone who is an INDEPENDENT and no more committed to the Dem party than the average person, I am by no means a "player" in the Dem game.

The positive threads about Obama and the Democratic Party in general usually only garner about a few dozen recs maximum, while the outrage posts easily get into the hundreds, no matter if the outrage is recycled/misplaced or not. Clearly not everyone who posts here is a Democrat, and as Tarheel Dem mentioned in one thread, this place has seen its share of infiltrators from sites such as DailyPaul.

Exactly. Not only infiltrators but as one astute person noted, this place is crawling with "nihilists of the left" who are every bit as clueless and destructive as the Tea Party. Which is why they bray so loudly whenever anyone makes that comparison -- and that comparison gets made ALOT. It's just shocking what this place has turned into and I'm not surprised that so many of the smartest folks are long gone.
