(53,001 posts)If so, it angers me. I feel compelled to apologize to African American members here. I don't understand how they feel entitled in making it so obvious they see their own egos as more important than the lives of those who experience racism. Now that they've had to temporary give in on their war on women, they seem to be turning their attention to African Americans. I wish they wouldn't. I wish I could stop it, and I wish they would think more about the lives of those subject to racism. I know I don't have any understanding of what it's like to experience racism, but I hope that I'm not as clueless or insensitive as what I am currently witnessing in GD. If and when I do, please let me know. In the meantime, I'm really sorry that this sort of absurdity takes place on a site that is meant to be for Democrats.
I'll also not that it is the same cast of characters who deny that objectification and sexism are problems. The common thread seems to be that what matters most is their own sense of entitlement.
