I bet you are right -

I probably could have been at a Tea Party Rally and not been told that. I would have been supporting some bad policies, and surely there would have been racists in the crowd. But, I'm willing to bet no one would have walked up to me, as a black woman, and told me to get a job, pay my taxes, and shut the hell up.

And on this -

He's not the one in the wrong place...I am.

You know if this is the Democratic Party at its heart - at its core? I want nothing to do with it. I'd prefer to just vote my financial interests because some party at least is looking out for me in that regard. Yeah - I wrote something like that at DU . . . again.
