39. That's just what I was thinking yesterday. No instant gratification there, nope, there wasn't.

It did not fit one or more media outrage spin cycles and had no flashy, jet setting spokespersons. Which seems to be the barometer of activism here at DU.

It was just plain, everyday people with a few that we have dubbed saints later. There were so many who were abused and killed whose stories were know, a 100Xs more who will stay nameless.

There has been change, but not the full transformation needed. It is coming, though, may not look the same as once thought, but it's coming. Just because it's late, it will still get here.

BTW, did you see this damned thing?
